| "Sky Egg II" |
Acrylic on canvas, 9" x 12"
|
"My work echoes a life long involvement with nature, music and dance. Raised on a farm, I have always made art.
My paintings are mostly oils on canvas, acrylics on canvas or paper, Sumi-e ink on paper or cloth
For me, painting is a process of listening and responding while exploring color, line and form.
Attempting to explore realms beyond sensation and realistically perceived imagery, the question often arises: 'How does one express the inexpressible?' "

| Toni Seger |
"The Telefax Box" a novel by Toni Seger |
"The Telefax Box" is a social and political satire that poses the conundrum: Can society be too mechanized? No element of modern life, from spy ware to gene pools, is immune from examination, especially as technological development blurs the line between people and machines.
Toni Seger has been a professional writer for more than 40 years. Her many interests are expressed in her fiction, theater, film work and other writing.
A playwright for many years, Seger has produced, directed and acted in her own and other plays for stage and cable television. In 1998, she formed ProseWorksª Productions to give literary works a visual life. In 2000, her focus with film became the remarkable work of poet, Timothy Richardson.
An award winning film maker with many endorsements, she is a former art dealer and the Founder of the Western Maine Cultural Alliance. 'The Telefax Box' is the first in a series of three novels satirizing the pros and cons of our modern mechanized world. |
